Daphne entered the world on November 16th, at 6 lb 14 oz and 21 inches. I photographed her on Saturday – her sixth day here and boy was she tired!! According to her parents, Daphne is a good sleeper — during the day; she still has her days and nights confused! Maybe she’s figured it out this week. Anyway, I was able to confirm Mom and Dad’s suspicions that she is absolutely adorable! Here are a few of my favorites.
Sweet sleeping Daphne

So tired!!

She may have been embarrassed that I dressed her in that silly hat…

Daddy’s little girl!

Valerie loves Disney World, where she and Nick honeymooned, so it was only fitting to have a Mickey and Minnie Cake.

As if that wasn’t enough, they had lots more deserts! Yum…

Valerie’s father was unable to make it to Athens for the wedding, so instead of the traditional father daughter dance there was a sister brother dance – and it was untraditional for sure! Valerie and her brother danced to The Golden Girls’ theme song, “Thank You for Being a Friend.”

This was another wedding where The Highballs played (they also played at Bri & Eric’s reception) so the party was great and there was tons of dancing!

I had such a blast photographing Valerie and Nick’s wedding. They are such a fun couple!

Valerie and her bridesmaids all wore pink shoes that matched the flowers!

Valerie had a cute frog pin on her bouquet.

Valerie’s brother walked her down the aisle.

I love the look of excitement just after being pronounced “man and wife!”

Congratulations Nick and Valerie!
Great music makes for a great reception, and Bri and Eric’s reception was great! I love The Highballs. They are a fantastic, professional, high energy event band and they can keep the party going! With their help, the wedding guests forgot about the rain, ignored the mud, and danced the night away.

This guy stole the show. He might have had the best moves of any of the guests!

Bri looked fantastic, walking down the aisle with her father.

The look on her face? That’s love!

With this ring, I thee wed…

Their first dance. I love the twinkle lights in the tent!

Tomorrow – the dancing!
As I told you in the sneak peek, Bri & Eric’s wedding was on a very rainy day! Despite the rain, Lake Oconnee was a gorgeous setting for the wedding.

Eric and his handsome groomsmen

Such a sweet couple

We somehow managed to get the entire wedding party together and smiling for this photo as the rain began to fall!

Congrats to Bri & Eric! More photos from the ceremony and reception to follow

I know I already “Sneak Peek’d” Valerie and Nick’s wedding, but I couldn’t wait to show you this photo. I just love it!

Sarah Mac turned one, and I was there to take some photos and record this wonderful day!

Walking down the street – don’t worry, we were right there watching for cars. But it was so cute to watch her just toddle on her way!

Big sister Caroline is 3 and a half. She’s a beauty!

And Sarah Mac was perfectly content to have her big sister Caroline “help” her with blowing out her candle.

But she needed no help at all eating the cake!

Kacina and Jason were married on a rainy October day — but we made the best of it and had a fantastic celebration!
